Stefano is not only a magician; he is also a true adventurer who embarks on challenges that test his physical endurance and mental strength. Here are some of the challenges that Stefano has already achieved and the ones that he plans in the future:

BLINDFOLDED BICYCLE RIDE

Stefano proved his extraordinary skill and courage by riding a bicycle blindfolded for 15 km. This is a challenge that requires incredible concentration and confidence in your own abilities. Riding a bicycle without sight is a real magic of self-confidence and endurance.

ISTRIA 100 MILE RACE

Running the Istria 100 Mile Race is a feat that requires enormous physical and mental strength. Stefano has already participated in this challenging race (42 km, 67 km and 128 km) which speaks of his commitment to the sport and his will to overcome long distances. He is preparing to finish the most difficult part of this race. 100 miles or 168 kilometers of running.

EVERESTING

Everesting is an impressive ambition. Climbing the equivalent height of Mount Everest, 8,848 meters, on foot requires long-term preparation and endurance. This challenge is a test of endurance that will definitely require the magical spirit of Stefan to accomplish.

"MAGIC DOESN'T EXIST. WE AGREE ON THAT?"

Immediately, at the very beginning, I ask Stefano. An experienced magician does not settle down.“ Of course magic exists, he readily answers. “The basis of magic is pure psychology. Magic happens, for example, when a man stands in front of a woman and asks her for love“.

„Likewise, every artist creates chemistry and mutual communication with the audience when they stand in front of them and show what they know. If there is no chemistry, magic is reduced to mere performance of tricks. Youtube is full of kids who perform tricks, but it’s not magic since there’s no background story and that since clouse vibe. The magic happens in the feeling of the observer and then the work of art is created”.

I am with the 55-year-old magician Igor Stefano Brkarić in a cafe in Pula. I don’t know him, so before the conversation I casually inquired about him and, indeed, there isn’t a person who doesn’t know him or at least doesn’t know about him. During the conversation, I also notice that a well-known figure is in town. Many people greet him and his cell phone is constantly ringing. It will be a good story, I happily conclude.

I don’t know much about magicians. I’ve never been too interested in that, so I can call it art. Googling magicians, I remembered David Devant. A 19th century magician who once said that a good magician is just a good actor playing a good magician. Well, that’s the essence of everything, confirms Stefano. Therefore, we enter the sphere of dramatic work. His works is nothing but dramatic performances with elements of magic tricks. The theater is, in fact, the biggest magic show and in it you experience the illusion of life, says Stefano. Since I have never been to a magic show, I ask him the usual questions: how long does one act last, or a classic question, what kind of audience is his favorite? Is it possible to create chemistry in 5 minutes, asks Stefano and immediately gives the answer – „Yes! The key part of any play is the first 5 seconds, either you are in or you are out! As for the audience, children are definitely the most difficult audience because they are brutally honest. They scan you and immediately understand whether you are of good quality or not. If you haven’t, the kids will show it right away.
